Asked Transport
Deputy Louis O'Hara asked the Minister for Transport whether anomalous aerial observations, including unidentified or non-cooperative aircraft observed in Irish airspace, are explicitly recognised by his Department and the Irish Aviation Authority as reportable safety-of-flight occurrences under Regulation (EU) No. 376/2014; and if so, the specific guidance, definitions, or standard operating procedures which are issued to flight crews to ensure such observations are reported consistently and without ambiguity; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
