CyberSafeIreland has provided internet safety policy suggestions for the various party election manifestos in advance of the next election and, in collaboration with the Children's Rights Alliance and others has produced a 'joint ask' for the next Programme for Government
We met with Matt Shanahan TD, Marc O cathasaigh TD, Mary Butler TD and David Cullinane Td. We also met with some election candidates at the ERH Centre. This was in the context of a NFVB request that we meet TDs both during election campaign and after election to outline difficulties in disability services including issues around the 1% cut imposed, lack of multi disciplinary support, requesting a minister for disabilities in next Dail and Section 39 specific problems.
