- 07.12.2020: AVEA wrote to An Taoiseach Mícheál Martin to express shock and frustration at the Department of An Taoiseach’s revision of the guidelines for the Visitor Experience and Attractions sector on 4th December, which was incompatible with guidelines originally published by Fáilte Ireland on 30th November. The revisions to guided tours/experiences and to Santa experiences were in practical terms unworkable and changed with no notice.
