- retailers of tobacco are prohibited by law from selling tobacco at a price higher than the one set by the tobacco company.CSNA does not consider this prohibition to be useful in meeting the Towards a Tobacco-Free Society Policy objective. Retailers need to be able to set the price of tobacco in the same manner as they calculate the required RSP of all other Fast Moving Consumer Goods. We cannot and will not seek to sell the products below RRP.
