As part of the effort to inform policy and practice in ensuring people seeking refuge and protection are received with generosity and dignity, JRS Ireland sent launch invitations and made copies of the report recommendations available to multiple relevant public officials.

Key asks include: increase funding for Personal Assistance; increase core social welfare rates affecting people with MD and their carers; extend medical card eligibility for children aged 16 years and over who have MD; increase funding for housing/accommodation and supports etc.
