I was lobbying the government on policy regarding the ELE sector and the introduction of the long awaited IEM. The proposed LP fund is a matter of grave concern. PCN currently has a bespoke LP insurance which includes medical insurance and also protects teachers and staff. PCN's bespoke insurance is far superior than the proposed LP fund. We should be allowed to continue to offer the protection we currently do and not be asked to contribute to the proposed LP fund.
