A bill to give further effect to Directive (EU) 2019/633 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019 on unfair trading practices in business-to-business relationships in the agricultural and food supply chain; to establish a body to be known as An Rialálaí Agraibhia and to define its functions (including price and market analysis and reporting, and enforcement); to prohibit unfair trading practices in business-to-business relationships in the agricultural and food supply chain; to confer on the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the power to make regulations about unfair trading practices in the agricultural and food supply sector and connected matters (including enforcement); and to provide for related matters.
